There are only relationships.

Until now the general assumption has been that the properties of things specify their relationships. For example, the charge on an electron determines how an electron interacts with other charged objects.

In fact, it is the other way around. The relationship between things determines how we perceive them.

A prime piece of evidence for this is that no-one has ever defined any thing in a definite and unambiguous way.
